Been waiting for 5 weeks for an ISA transfer from Natwest, Natwest haven't received the request from T212 yet. Keep asking T212 to resend it but no progress yet! However, transferring cash in worked well and the best ISA rate on the market currently....

After several years with them, with the same bank account linked all that time, they will not let me withdraw urgently needed funds, because they are unable to verify the bank account. The same bank account they were happy to receive the funds from? Why on earth didn't they inform me they had an issue. However the 1 star rating is because you simply cannot speak to anyone. No telephone number. Once you get past the hopeless bot questions, it takes hours for a human to respond, who tells you they can't help but will pass it on. After 2 days frantically trying to get MY money, I have heard nothing. I now wish to close the account entirely but of course, they won't send my money. What on earth can I do? The regulator takes ages.

Opened an ISA with them as they had a great interest rate. However if you open an ISA, please be aware they put your money into Barclays. You can see in your account precisely how much money is held by which bank on 212’s behalf. Barclays is bankrolling Israel’s genocidal assault on Palestinians through its financial ties with arms companies that sell weapons to Israel. When I reached out to customer service saying I didn’t want my money held there (there are 2 other banks the money is kept). I was told it’s not possible to choose where MY money is held and the agent closed the chat instantly. Unfortunately, I will have to close my account as I’m not going to be complicit in a genocide.

No sort code in account details. The App is useless, received numerous emails saying the same thing, cancelled the account set up, wasted about 2 hours.

Easily the best app for investing in ETFs and stocks. And very good for beginners like myself. I would definitely recommend to others to get started aswell.

I no longer have access to my account . There is stupid circular message telling me to access my account for a sign in code! Ridiculous. Very unprofessional and denying people access to their accounts is poor customer relations.

Interest rate is great, but the app lacks standard security features - no authentication needed to access the account other than when you first install the app. Edited to add: you can turn on extra security features in the settings, but this should be the default.

Very poor customer service. I’ve been trying to exit my funds for weeks with slow response times and still no solution. It’s got a good interface, but when you need help, there is little to none.

They don't offer options trading, you have to buy / sell at the LSE, for bigger amounts the cost of currency conversion is uncompetitive. Can't create my account statement myself

They’ve been postponing portfolio transfer for multiple quarters now. Something is fishy

I used this platform in the past and was happy with it. There were some issues with the display price being vastly different than actual price but aside, it suited my needs. They have all my data and recently say that they need verification. This is been good on for weeks. The live chat is never answered despite the message saying it shall be. Telephoning them leads to an automated reply redirecting the customer back to the unanswered live chat. Emails are ignored. It is impossible to communicate with anyone from 212. I smell a rat! The other reviews are a warning now that this company is a one man show or simply are just awful. With the high regulations in money and trade, this is bad news. I have lost all trust in this company

Poor UX - Un-intuitive interface that could lead you to trading when you didn't want to. After following the chat agents instructions to find my shares, which had been moved to a different account without my knowledge, I ended up selling them as I was told to click an 'x' - which bizzarely means sell, not close the window as on every other piece of software! As I've now sold my shares inadvertently at a loss, I want to withdrawn my funds. I can't. The system won't let me. They don't respond to email and they don't pick up their phone or respond to messages. So... do they just keep the money? Tip - don't give them yours! Pay a proper company to allow you to trade. It seems too good to be true with their free trading... it is, don't be tempted!

Still no money after requesting a withdrawal over a week ago. Please read these reviews before investing. I wish I did now!

Zero star. Account opened on 3 January 2019. Made deposit of 13k and 4th January 2019 received email saying trading account under review provide documents which I have done and same day account Fully active and verified and ready to use all documents I have gave them approved then on 5th January 2019 I tried to withdraw 12251.31 but after two days request got rejected because they saying I owe trading212 £10987 apparently. Then I have contacted customer live chat and in live chat they said I don’t owe anything to trading 212 there is no way I can owe any money to trading 212. It’s like pay as you go just put money in the account and trade if you lost in trading then u will lose your money but there is no way you can owe trading212 any money. I took screenshots as a proof and sent to there team who deal with withdrawal but no response from them and keep saying I owe them 10987 about one year ago so what they can do is if we aggre they will take 10987 from 12215.31 and will give me rest money which is about 1228 only obviously I didn’t aggre on that Amount coz I deposit 13000 and I didn’t trade that much only lost 784 rest was 12215.31 which is still showing my balance as a free balance and availabil balance . Then I made two request 6000 and 6215. 31 also rejected and balance dropped back to my account then I made again request 12215.31 which is still in processing and I’m sure it will reject again like last time. Account number 816234. Also I can not open any position to trade. Can you tell me guys what shall I do.

Full of excitement starting to learn about trading. Signed up for Trading 212. I submitted ID and prof of address. First proof of address was rejected as I did a screenshot of my bank statement. I then gave them a Virgin Media monthly bill as all other utilities are in my wife’s name. They accepted and said I could start trading. I deposited money, started to trade and after 24hour. It said my account was suspended. No explanation. Had to contact them via chat. Why do they accept my proof of address, allow me to start trading, depositing money, then later block my account without any explanation! I spent over 1 hour on chat to try to figure out how I could get my money back. Managed in the end but I would never ever use them again. I understand they have their processes but if they have concerns/issues/misunderstandings they should clear it before they allow me to trade. Very unhappy with them they way they treated me in this situations. Serious companies would have approach this differently. Please review your procedures

This platform is run by dishonest people who thrive on lack of transparency. They take a delectable pleasure in explaining how you lost your money (which, no doubt, went into their pockets). How they can operate legally is baffling. Aweful.

I've used a lot of trading accounts and I'm afraid Trading 212 offer a very poor experience. The 2 starts are for the app - its very well made and intuitive, it's a shame the service that sits behind it doesn't measure up. The biggest issue I have is lack of fluidity with funds Example: With IG, I can deposit funds with a debit card in the morning, trade up to middday, then withdraw to the bank account connected to the debit card and the funds will be back to my account by close of play (5pm at the absolute latest) In addition, the withdraw is processed immediately and I receive email notification the withdraw is happening almost instantly. I am also able to see this withdrawal in the reports section of my account (again, instantly). Trading 212 could not be more removed from this - As an example, I requested a withdrawal on Thursday morning, approx 8am, following which the first contact I had with regards to the withdrawal was the following Saturday afternoon stating the withdrawal had been processed. This was then repeated when I requested a withdraw in the week and only received confirmation when I contacted the (bot) chat and the withdrawal was chased through. Further, until such time as the email is received confirming the withdrawal, it wont show in your reports, so unless you screenshot your mobile, you have no evidence of the withdrawal - very poor In addition, I have been told I cannot withdraw to a bank account when depositing with a debit car, even though the card belongs to the account I wish to withdraw to (the excuse being money laundering regs, which is absolute rubbish - if they are connected card/account there is no law that prevents this) Trading 212 need to address these issues as a matter of urgency, as they simply aren't acceptable when others can other a much faster, streamlined and traceable withdrawal process.

Set up a trading account this evening to find that when i logged out and logged back in my account was not recognised, and in fact never existed. Live chat is awful as well, its just a robot which can't answer the most basic questions and keeps repeating itself. SHOCKING.

This is great. I’ve made £73 profit this month so far from a £1 investment. They are FCA regulated so a bit confused as to why so many people are stating it’s a scam. Scam companies would not get authorised by the FCA! As long as you ensure you create the correct type of account, then you will not receive any issues.

Garbage. Potential scam - have ID, not verified in over a week & cannot make contact. Makes you wonder what they’re doing with all the info. Now need to lodge formal grievances with regulatory bodies (and also to cover DP/GDPR).
