me to a position and pushed for 20 lots with a high margin which I've deposited... I started with USD 5K and was tricked to 30k in a few days then from their highly recommended position by email and over the phone with the suggested equity, I got liquidated. This Fehmi does not even care to call anymore... To make it worse, I was not told about the profit they make on daily basis for holding positions... it is not a fixed commission I sent an email to support a couple of days ago... No action from Q8 Serious crooks unethical and greedy

Don’t waste your time or Money with Q8 trade, just closed out my accounts. Charge lots of fees and poor customer service.

DO NOT USE Q8 TRADE is all I can say. We’ve unfortunately been in the situation where we are dealing with my Father-in-laws estate. He had a nominal amount of money with Q8 Trade and it has been the biggest hassle to say the least. To be clear, we also had to deal with TD, Sunlife, Meridian and First Ontario throughout this process and Q8 Trade BY FAR has been THE WORST to deal with. It takes DAYS to get a response. They put up roadblocks every time we get a response from them AND they’ve shown a lack of basic understanding of standard things. For example, we are asking them for a 2020 tax year T5 slip that we need to file my FILs 2020 taxes. We know my FIL received dividends from stock held in his Q8 Trade account during 2020. The death occurred in 2021 and the account is being settled up in 2021. We have been told multiple times by one of their representatives that they can not provide us with a 2020 slip until the account is settled in 2021. WHAT????!!!! This makes no sense. Sure, their platform may be half decent, but if you ever want your money back…. DO NOT USE Q8 TRADE!!!!!!!!

If your looking to transfer moneys or securities, from Q8 trade, to Q8 trade expect it to either get lost or never happen on the first attempt, you have to call and remind them , but still the transfer gets dropped and lost very frustrating

Customer service is horrible. And sue me if it isn’t true but my suspicion is the options desk is corrupt. They go into your account and make illegitimate trades and then try to make a deal to cover it up. They’ve closed covered calls in my account when I’ve owned the underlying and then refuse to rebate the money involved. Stick me with the shares. They close out Friday expirations midday Monday sometimes. And the phone people are clueless.

Very bad! Technical support does not even read my concerns with there software. They have a mayor problem that prevents trades from outside Canada. I wrote them several times. If they answer at all, they just brush you off without reading my detailed report. If they do not care about there software glitches, can you trust them with your money? I took all my money out and switched to a different one.

Q8 Trade is terrible for people with small accounts. They ding you with account fees and charge too much for trades. As well, their platform has not improved much in decades and their research is terrible. Try the national bank of Canada. Definitely use IBKR if you want to trade advanced options.
