I have an account since more than 10 years, once was probably the best online bank in Italy, but now, after the merge with another bank that bought them few months ago, the service became absolutely unacceptable. They changed the IBAN of ALL the accounts, invalidated ALL the credit cards, and took very long time to send the replacement ones, leaving people without credit card for a while. In my unlucky case: 4 months to get the card it's still not working. The customer service (chat, email, call center) was always perfect, very efficient, quick and professional with people that knew what they were doing and were working to find a solution for you. Now is impossible to talk to them, the chat is completely useless, they always tell me to call instead. If you call there are very long queue and is impossible to find someone that understand your problem or work for a solution, I got only "it's not possible" answer for all the problems I encountered after the merge, that are a lot. It's a shame that they were able to ruin a so good service so quickly, the whole management should resign!

Given that I have been a customer of this bank since it opened many years ago. I note that over time it has become increasingly inefficient, poor ability to solve problems, call center with very kind people but inadequate to solve any problem. Platform that continually crashes. Disconnection after a few minutes of inactivity Management of complaints totally inefficient. A constant worsening of customer services no longer bearable. I will soon say goodbye....

Continuous disruptions, impossible to use the app, impossible to use the site, impossible to make payments, impossible to use the new card because it is impossible to activate it. I can't even see the movements. I can't use my money. I don't have possession of my funds!!!! A disgrace. No assistance through any of the available channels because no operator responds!!!! I will close the account as soon as it is possible to use home banking.

Run away, run away while you still have time. It's hard not to be optimistic or constructive. But the Alfabeto Fideuram platform into which IWbank customers have fallen is a Dantesque circle. No webchat, unusable site. Disconnections. Orders not executed for no reason. Impossible to find information, only groping and useless animations

Customer for more than 10 years never had any problems, now I can't believe it, they don't even know how to validate an identity document. Valid document accepted by other banks and they can't see/find the expiration date. Crazy, even the last illiterate person laughs, but where do they have these documents checked? Albania? Romania? Simply scandalous.

Terrible app, terrible website, incompetent phone operators. to use the app you have to put your phone in airplane mode but I discovered it by myself, no one warns you, there are no tutorials... avoid and abandon as soon as possible. too bad because until last year everything was fine. they decided to commit economic suicide, users are killing themselves by running away.

Until a few months ago they were excellent, best online bank. Since they were incorporated into Intesa they have become untraceable, they do not respond to emails, they do not respond to the call center (or rather you can call at any time but the result is the same: 5 minutes of waiting and then the line drops and you cannot speak to an operator, and this for a month in a row calling 2 times a day. Indecent treatment of customers!

I opened the account a few years ago and I have to say that I am happy with it. Accessing online banking was a little difficult at first, but after I called the call center, a very kind and helpful operator enlightened me and since then it has been a breeze. The current account has practically no costs, our contact is good and competent, what can I say... better than this!!!

A disaster, a catastrophe, a disgrace. The Alfabeto Fideuram site is fine for housewives in Voghera who keep an eye on their ham spending but it has nothing to do with advanced trading. But above all - with all possible browsers - after a few minutes of browsing the cache fills up and real time disappears. Obviously the help desk is inaccessible, portfolio evaluation from last week, funds disappeared, halved windows impossible to scroll, etc.... Not even in sub-Saharan Africa

After being an IWBank customer for over 20 years, I am thinking that the time has come to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, since they have been part of Intesa, communication has not been clear, they have sent packages by post with new conditions that I honestly do not have time to read, but I understand that the bank wants to change course and no longer has anything to do with what IWbank was. The credit card has been taken away without much ado and a new contract must be renewed. In the meantime, I have transferred almost all my money from the account to another C/C. I was also sincerely afraid of the seriousness of the new institution that I do not know well.

After so many years it has become unusable, since the app has been available it has become impossible to access from a PC. I have repeatedly reported the problem to the call center but nothing!! In the last phone call today the guy who answered did not even want to open the report saying that I had to send him the screenshot as proof! I will close the account as soon as possible

Terrible bank... after the unilateral account closure without giving explanations they make me waste 15 minutes of time in chat because they send registered letters of debit cards to be redone that would arrive in November after the account would already be closed in addition to these hysterical behaviors we also have the office hysteria that sends new cards then unusable, they should go to Zelig avoid this bank ... after the merger with Intesa ... they no longer control anything ... ah of course I have already opened an account in a German bank and another Italian ... but for a long time ...

I have been trying in vain to obtain the credentials to operate online for 4 days; I cannot see the current account movements and my securities position is blocked. It is impossible to speak to the operator by calling the toll-free number dedicated to former IWB customers. I will contact the relevant Supervisory Bodies because a situation like this is unacceptable and harmful to all users and I will transfer the relationship as soon as possible.

I have been an IW Bank customer since 2019 because my son had convinced me to do so for the low costs of the account even if it was an online-only bank. After switching to Fideuram I realize that the new reality is more suitable for those who have assets to invest (and that is not my case) but now I appreciate the possibility of turning to the Banca Intesa branch that I have under my house. The costs for now are zero and I have maintained the same conditions that I had in IW.

Good morning, I am very disappointed, in this period it is very rare to be able to access the bank, the service is not available, to date there have been 4 consecutive days of blocking, this, not being able to operate, is causing me significant losses on investments that I have in shares, I will close the relationship. Ps. Surely there are others in my same situation, let's unite for a class action lawsuit.

After 20 years as a super satisfied customer I find myself today looking for another bank (and honestly I don't know where to bang my head) because unfortunately since IWBank was absorbed by Intesa it has become a real mess (leveling itself with Intesa). They close the current free credit card (renewed 5 months ago) and force you to make a contract with NEXI with a cost of 30 euros per year. All this while having to send a lot of documents to fill out via registered mail (in the face of online). I am also receiving more paper communications (which will certainly have a cost) in these last 2 weeks than in 20 years of account. Total disappointment.

I have been a customer since 2009: it was an excellent online bank and worked well with a PC and USB stick. Then they introduced the smartphone app, and since then it has been worse and worse: now even just logging into the account for normal operations is becoming impossible. I think I will soon close the account and transfer the operations elsewhere.

Unfortunately, 0 stars cannot be given. Embarrassing bank, stay away. The app and the site work terribly and should be everything or almost everything for an online bank. You cannot authorize transactions, embarrassing graphics. Already started the request to change banks and move everything. Leave while you can!!
