Unexpected account closures, delayed withdrawals and customer service that seems to be an eternal coffee break. Transparency? More like a magic trick where everything disappears. Lets just say they're about as pleasant as stepping on a lego. Many users, including yours truly, have seen their money vanish faster than snacks at a party. So if you are considering this platform, uhhh Dont !

I have opened a new account for share dealing and CFD, CFD account went into pending....made number of calls for more than 10 days, chatted on whats app online many number of time ,....agents telling we will email but no clear solution...no responsibility taken.... not bothere....waiting on whatsapp and online chat for many minutes and all of sudden agents appears and dissappers saying I did not get a quick response.....disaster....if everything works they are fine ...the moment you are stuck you are left hanging....

Using IG for last 5 years but Lately having alot of performance issue, which is bit frustrating. Probably Test team is not doing its Job well ! Stop limit or buying limit only works after you have refreshed your Browser.

This broker is not trustworthy at all, they keep on increasing the margin every time and it's affecting the trading. Also, their customer service is very poor, they're not ready to help you out. Stay away from them if you don't want to lose your money. I've switched to a more reliable one and is PAIVA, they stand on their words and is aim is to grow your investment.

My experience used trade IG index till have an IG account manager about over twenty years ago got banned for life because got the point wrong and shouldn’t have been banned at all was making a profit at those times this is a bad company ban people for no good reason since asking question alot that’s nothing wrong with that extreme terrible. The company wouldn’t say it's best at all. Very not professional enough to me never got bad treatment there still banned me not able to open them account past twenty years ago would have had a super experience even now was making a profit start with them as well just because I made a mistake about how many points there goes funny with that make an excuse ban me. Why list US stocks when you want to charge an insane eyewatering $30 per buy+sell (15 for buy and 15 for sell) transaction? Seriously! At least make the charges obvious in the interface. My hard learnt experience resonates with this video: https://www youtube com/watch?v=ixPAiDphYHw

Bad customer management. They increase the margins on options up to five times, with a 2-day notice. You risk a lot of accounts going out of business, and at best the option sellers will capitalize on a big loss. I don’t even want to hear about you. Bad! Goodbye, you will rightly lose many customers, you have dug your own grave with your hands, you are sweating. Added after your comment: You should have increased margins only on new positions. The contract also talks about possible increase of margins in REASONABLE MEASURE. To increase them by 5 times, IS NOT REASONABLE Goodbye

very unhelpful, and unfriendly live support if I knew their service got this worse I would not have and account with this broker. they used to call and spend hours to help with anything now it seems they have grown and do. not need clients and in the same way they got many clients at the opposite way they will lose customers. you must not hire people who are incapable and lack empathy as customer support.

I have been using IG for Indices CFD and Futures trading for 6 weeks full time. Compared to TV there is sometimes a slight lag on chart updates (this can provide opportunities); the app respects the chart prices for order entries. Customer Support has been excellent. The chart interactivity on the mobile app is impressive, although different timescales do not always display drawings like trend lines at the same levels. Range of products is excellent. Company is well established and isolates customer funds from their own activities.

I had to close my account recently as I found this company to be dishonest, withhold vital information and produce costs that were not easily made known to me when I openly asked them verbally about all costs. I feel they have been disingenuous. They will hide behind the small print in the T&C's. Based on my experience, be weary about this company before you invest with them. They will also indicate they have up to 8 weeks before responding to your query or complaint. That's invaluable time lost when it comes to your investment portfolio?

IG basically delivers a spread betting proposition that I trust. The app, however, is no longer fit for purpose when using on an Android phone. This is because the trading graphs or news features don't load. When I took this up with them I was told it's a known issue and the only way to correct it is to delete browser history and cache. This messes up the browser cookie preferences requiring me to decline non-essential cookies on every site visited... a complete ball ache! IG... this is a known issue so fix it!

I have been trading with IG for 4 years and while often things go well, there is an ongoing issue where mobile platform on android doesn't show the charts! 2 months with this issue that makes trading impossible from the phone and still no resolution from support!

I use IG for my stocks and shares ISA. I also have another broker and have had others in the past. Overall I am happiest with IG compared to any of the other brokers I have used. Their admin is efficient, their transaction charges are lower than most of the reputable competitors and when I have need assistance (recently to get an audit trail of transactions) their customer service has been excellent

had account with IG since more than 2 years ago but I didn’t do any transactions or activity until today and I wished I had never started with as I compare with my other broker is very poor and it’s only losing your time and money. Moreover, the admin process is too complicated so far and overall it’s just painful. I hope I can close out my activities with IG and continue with my other professional broker.
