Having requested a withdrawal of cash on several occasions, have to constantly chase them to get the money. This last request is up to 2 weeks now and still chasing them. The website says they pay out next day. They don’t.

Asking for ID for someone who is disabled. Does not drive so the driving license has expired, cannot travel so the passport has not been renewed. Does not work so no tax statement. Then have no way to go forward is pure idiotic harassment. This country alos has no National ID so don't bother asking. Also the account has been opened for years and there has been transfers. You were satisfied then. This is just due harassment not due diligence on your part. You don't care about people's circumstances.

Would not either trade or return my money after depositing based on a paperwork issue (deposited from a business account) which they should have addressed before accepting the deposit and then began “sale of bullion to cover platform fees” until it was all gone. I said if you don’t like the paperwork, return it to my account, the account it came from. After a lot of back and forth they are simply thieves.

I find it very annoying that in this age, where we have all automated (and they have it too), they charge you for a fast return of your money, and if you don't want to pay, you have to wait for three days... It doesn't take three days to transfer your fund into their accounts...

Customer orientated company. Easy to use website. Fast personal response to any problems. Bullionvault has stayed true to it's aim to make precious metals available to everybody at the the most competitive price.

I first used bullion vault in 2013/14 where I bought and eventually sold some gold. Now in 2024 I decided to return to the gold market, i forgot how easy bullionvault made the whole process. Best place to buy and sell gold

The positives - the pricing is very good, although for larger transaction sizes there is not much liquidity and you will need to spend a long time executing - could be it takes you days. It's particularly bad for Switzerland compared to London for silver and platinum. The people are also very friendly on email when you deal with them - they have an attitude that suggests they are _trying_ to help. HOWEVER... KYC is a mess. They will ask for information, tell you it's fine and then months later your account will be locked out of the blue and when you contact them they will ask you for more information, which includes things you have already given them. Then you'll provide it to them and they'll ask for something like your bank customer number that you provided in the last batch and that they already have proof for in the documents sent previously. I've used a few different bullion dealers around the world, and I used to run an 11 billion USD hedge fund (Global Legal and Compliance reported to me), so I'm familiar with the challenges involved in KYC. These guys are a mess operationally when it comes to KYC. Overall the pricing makes it okay-ish if you want to keep precious metals in Western countries but don't count on being able to trade when you want (because abruptly locking your account for no good reasons) and you had better have time to placate the unreasonable KYC gods of chaos.

I have been disappointed as I lost money despite Gold and Silver increasing in price. Something that I think is kept 'quiet' or perhaps not given enough weight, although I am sure it will be in the contract, is the 'Custody Fees' they charge. I was of course expecting trading commission fees but wasn't expecting to lose out by them 'holding my Gold/Silver' My fault I am sure, but it's not been a good experience if I am honest and I just think new customers should be more careful that they understand the fee before they invest - I think I was somewhat careless but also think maybe BV could have been more forthright with highlighting these fees.

Slow to initiate trades when price was hit for a long time. Way too much commission charged and a huge cost to withdraw funds. Overall the service okay but they commission the death out of you so be warned!

It took all this time to find a bank in Panama that would accept funds from the sale of metals. So I again went through the onerous process to change my linked bank account, including answering Bullionvault's demand to know WHY I wanted to change the bank. (None of their friggin' business!) The entire process took weeks! --------------------------------- I see that Bullionvault replied with a bunch of nonsense! Just like their replies to my 53 "support ticket" questions. I would have closed my account MUCH sooner had I been able to find a bank in Panama that would accept the funds. Bullionvault: PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN WITH ANYTHING. Despite BV's high commissions (some cleverly hidden), I can understand why active traders of metals might want an account in BV. But I never did any trading and my purpose was preservation of wealth. My association with BV cost me dearly, both financially and in many hours of work and frustration to finally get them OUT of my life and FINALLY to receive my proceeds of a sale. I have never in my life been so happy and relieved to have a company GONE from my life. And by the way, BV also does trading on the platform for their own benefit. I haven't seen this revealed anywhere, and if it is not against the law, it should be!

The problem with bullion vault is that you can buy fractional gold, silver or precious metals, just starting from, say £2 upwards,,let new customers get up the ladder,,Bullion vault is ok for people have a lot of money,,it would be nice if bullion vault start fractional buying trading.

Very high fees (including many hidden) for smaller investors. Very poor customer service and make it suspiciously difficult and long winded to liquidate and close account. Many better alternatives

Difficult to make deposits. Company always asking for more documents even though the account went through the long process of verification. I have suffered unnecessary losses due to their delays on my deposits all of which originated from the same supposedly verified account.

DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS WITH YOUR MONEY!!! I transfered funds from my savings back in 2020, now i sold some metals and want to withdraw, i get a notice that they are witholding my funds and ask for the following: The evidence needs to identify and support the source and value of the funds you have used or will use to trade with. Each case is dealt with on an individual basis, but common documents are: Proof of earnings: Payslip/Director remuneration/Dividends/Pension. A bank statement that clearly shows consistent incoming values from an identifiable source. Dated proof of an award/payment made to you. Other clear evidence that would support "affordability" in relation to your trading with us. This is simply not acceptable, you expect to be able to sell off assets and get your funds without hassle, now this. I don't know if they have financial problems and that is why they won't pay out but i sincerely regret ever doing business with the,

You can't view your bullion. Why? Could it be alleged that they actually don't hold it. I had nothing but issues with them When I wanted my gold and asked them to send it to me at a cost of £150, it came from a different location. But then they said I'll send the other a month later, and then said it would cost another £150. I sold it online and took the money. Worse company I have ever dealt with. I was glad to get away from them. I went to a local bullion dealer and have the physical gold in my hands. I think they are just traders like a stock market.
